adverting is any paid form of nonpersonal prescentation of ides , products or services by an idenfied sponser . most advertising media are mass media e.g. newspaper, magazines, television, radio,billboards, etc . thus rather than transmititng messages to one buyer, most ads commmunication to thousands or even millions of buyers. this makess each contact far less expansive than personal sales presentation. manufacturers have more control over their and copy than personal sales presentation , but ads are one -way communication.
